The Moon in June
The Moon in June, Oil painting on canvas, 20x24", custom framed.
24x20 Print, signed by the artist
I was visiting Morro Bay and enjoying a short vacation and after a lovely fish dinner at the Wharf, I drove to a nearby beach to enjoy the sunset. It was June and the weather was lovely, the fog was lingering just off the coast and undoubtedly would make it's appearance by morning, so the only effect the fog was having now was the coolness of the air.
I was fascinated by the moon peaking around and through the many Cypress Trees there at the beach. I looked up at one perfect tree and thought that I could see Mother Nature, breaking out like a branch of the tree and she was peaking through the tree's branches, in order to catch a glimpse of the full moon. Perhaps it was my imagination? but what's imagination for if you don't use it.
